Ending Delegate Nomination Voter Representation!
In 2008, state Delegates affiliated with the Democratic Party failed to
cast their votes at the Democratic Convention on behalf of the voters
they were bound to represent. These voter representatives were selected
as Delegates to
represent the Votes of the Voters - not "The Party" nor a
"Party's Pre-Selected Candidate".
These voter representatives ("Delegates") failed to cast their
convention votes on behalf of
the majority of votes cast in their state/district. Many reportedly
were bullied and intimidated to change their votes!
This is an outrage!
In addition, millions of voters are unaware that Political Action
Committees "PAC" (including those founded by current legislators, such
as Nancy Pelosi), donate vast amounts of campaign contributions
to "Super Delegates" in the months leading up to the Democratic
Convention.
These "campaign contributions" to Super-Delegates correlate directly
with Super-Delegate endorsement switches from Hillary Clinton to Barack
Obama. As with the Voter's Delegates failure to cast their votes with
their state's or district's winning candidate, Super-Delegates switched
their votes, regardless of what the majority Votes of their State or
District reflected.
This is an
outrage!
As a result, millions of voters were "disenfranchised" - their votes
never actually counted! Only a hand-full of states have laws
protecting voters, yet, many voters were unaware of how this
disenfranchisement occurred.
