that equal rights was the right direction.
Most reforms,

WOMEN VS VIOLENCE - HATE CRIMES AGAINST WOMEN?
THE
TIME IS NOW FOR
2010 & BEYOND !
If you
want to
know why Betty Jean Kling, Founder and Executive
Director of The Majority
United is relentless in her
pursuits of finally achieving Women's
Rights in ways that are effective,
efficient and enduring, the following tells the story.
From
within
our homes to the networks of mainstream media,
the abuse of women knows no bounds.
Betty
Jean Kling
knows this
tragic story well. Betty Jean's daughter, Louisa Rodas,
clings to life each day from a shotgun blast
to the face in a December 2008 attack on both of her daughters.
To
many, Louisa is just one more 'unfortunate casualty' out of the 4.8
million intimate partner-related physical assaults and rapes every
year. An estimated 3 women die each day from their injuries from
Domestic
Violence and millions more are seriously injured.
To Louisa's mother,
her daughter is a living
symbol of why every woman and man should be outraged at the violence
committed against women all over the world.
Louisa - and
women like her all over
the world - are why all women and men should be standing
up, speaking out and
demanding that all women be protected by legislation that defines any
act
of violence committed against a woman as a 'HATE CRIME'.
Education, Prevention and
Constitutional Protection
Isn't
educational prevention the answer to
stemming the tide of domestic violence and sexual assault?
Educational Prevention,
of course, is one answer – but without effective and
meaningful constitutional laws for both the furtherance and protection
of women's rights, it
will never be enough. The Majority United believes that women, men, the
media and communities working together to stop the violence against
women, by demanding legislation be enacted to ensure the
punishment fits the crime, will
make a difference in terms of prevention as well as in the lives of the
victims and their families.
Join The Majority United
today in our efforts to
unite
women to finally make a difference in
the lives of all women now and in future generations to come.

What is a female? Not what you think she is!
What is a female?
A Female is depicted by others everyday all day
long all over the world. Does anyone anywhere even know who or what a
female is anymore? Does a female even know who she is? Ask her – she
will tell you who she is to someone else no doubt! Lately is has become
vogue to brag about being a mother. As a mom, proud to be a mom, A
million moms. I am one of those and I belong to every one of those and
darn happy to be one too.
I am also a
citizen and proud to be one – and a wife and proud to be
one and a daughter and proud to be one but I am also a female and when
I take away all the other labels – I need to know that as one of 52% of
the population I am something else! How many of us unique females have
no children, husband, siblings or parents left. What does that make us
nothings? I dare say we had damned well better wake up and recognize
that we are so much more than someone else’s something, as proud as we
are to be part of a family, a partner, a bigger picture or a bigger
community, we are individuals. Read

Money, Sex & Power
In order to
protect them, something needs to be done about the
exploitation of women and girls around the world. Unfortunately, even
in America women and girls have been marginalized to believe their
dress is to be dictated by others. Be it the veil or the hajab in the
most conservative of circles or the thong in the most liberal the point
is that women’s fashion has been dictated to them by either their
religion or politics/society both run exclusively by men whose main
priorities are either and/or a combination of money, sex and power.
